Balinese monkeys

Monkeys in Bali can be really aggressive and dangerous. If you decided to visit Uluwatu temple or Monkey Forest in Ubud please note that you should keep your belongings as far as possible since these naughty animals can easily steal anything they like. Actually it is a nice idea to have some stick with you since monkeys at least consider you as some sort of threat in this case and may leave you alone. You should know that they have huge fangs, just take a look at this photo

Ogoh-Ogoh Parade in Bali

For a change this time I am posting Bali photos made during Ogoh-Ogoh. This is a part of Bali New Year celebration that usually happens in March. Huge statues of various demons from Hindu mythology are built and during this day they are taken around the all major settlements.  Some of them really scare as you can see!

One More Beautiful Water Palace in Ujung

Another great-looking water palace in Bali is situated near the small coastal village Ujung. As you can see it is quite different from Tirta Ganga. It has much bigger territory and at first glance it may look simpler but that is not quite true since there are lots of statues and other decorative elements. Besides as you may see from my photos the view from the top is really stunning and you can even see the ocean waves!

Photos of Amazing Tirta Ganga Waterpalace

Tirta Ganga is another amazing place that you can see on the road from Amed village.  That is one of several water palaces built by king of Bali in the past. As you can see there are lots of fountains and ponds inside. The atmosphere is very calm and this place is not very crowded with tourists. I did some of the best Bali photos when I visited this place for a first time.

Rice Terraces and Rice Paddies in Bali

Another extremely famous tourist attraction in Bali are rice terraces. The most famous ones are situated near the city of Ubud. Many tourists stop here on their way to north in order to make unforgettable Bali photos. However these terraces aren’t the only one. There are many others in the northern part but not so many people are aware about them. Not so many places in the world can be proud of something like that!

Besides terraces you can find some really beautiful rice paddies. The photo was made on the road from Candidasa to Amed. There is a small coffee shop on the hill so you can drink a cup of coffee for 30 cents and enjoy the view! I really liked that one! When sun comes out the water in these paddies look simply brilliant

Classic Tanah Lot Sunset Photo

Probably Tanah Lot already became the symbol of Bali for many tourists. Almost no one who decides to visit that admirable magical Island can misses the chance to see this old temple. It is building on the rock and during the hide tide the pass to that temple is fully covered with water. It is especially beautiful during the sunset so many people come here to makes amazing photos. I was no exception and also tried to do my best. Check the first one from my personal collection of Bali photos!
